Pieleaf treats EU and UK residents under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR. This page summarizes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
Personal data we collect
Ordering on Pieleaf does not require an account. To fulfil an order, we collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your delivery town and collection agency
- Your order history, including items ordered and payment status
Lawful bases
- Contract performance — to take your order, arrange delivery to your chosen town and agency, and process your mobile money payment
- Legitimate interest — to operate and secure the service, prevent fraud, and improve how orders are fulfilled
Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Data portability: export your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Restrict how we process your data
To exercise any of these rights, email support@pieleaf.com. We respond within 30 days.
To request erasure of your data specifically, use our Data Deletion page:
Retention
We keep order data for as long as needed to resolve disputes, meet tax and accounting obligations, and support customer service. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.
International transfers
Where our infrastructure providers process data outside your country, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards to protect it.
